Cell Phone Hell and Email on Phone?

——————————————————————————–

Without boring you all with a very long and tortuous story……I have a new cell phone that’s not working as promised and don’t even bother to say return it….

It’s a Motorola Smartphone the mpx220…..I need to get my AOL email on it plus other email not accessed via the internet (I can get some of my email on the internet on it…but it’s slow and messy)…I could write here some funny stories and some sad stories about this horrible experience, but I would rather not bore you all in BlogLand.

Bottom line is today, I figured out that Maybe, JUST MAYBE there is someone out there that can advise me, help me and has PERSONAL experience in making this entire thing work for me.

It’s service is Cingular…My Question….can any one out there get their AOL email on this cell phone OR on a PDA or Blackberry and is it from CINGULAR and what name and model is it? Do you get it FAST and clean or have to download it each time? Downloading the mail is a long and messy horrible experience. And no matter that I have it set up to download the ENTIRE MESSAGE…it will only give me headers and once or twice a week it decides to give me the whole message.

I had a $49 phone from ATT for three years that had my AOL email instantly…I mean instantly and I could get the full messages with no downloading…it was perfect. But the antennae broke and the phone had to be replaced…three replacements later and the most expensive phone I ever owned and it’s useless…..except as a phone. Even the camera on this phone doesn’t give me images with as rich colors as my friends whose phone was half the price at Cingular.

So any info is greatly appreciated…if you actually HAVE a Motorola MPX220 and get all your email, especially AOL email…please, please help me set it up.

I have been on the phone with both companies top technical support people and the bottom line is this:

AOL blames Cingular…Cingular blames AOL…all third party downloads don’t work…..grrrr……

Any where you can point me in the right direction for help is greatly appreciated!!

Until we all decided, Manuel’s became the Arena for the “Championship Hottest Salsa Eating Contest”. Mississippi State Champ, Lisa Monistere, successfully defended her title by annihilating Michael in the Main Event. Michael threw in the towel in the second round, and Lisa remains UNBEATEN.

A rematch is scheduled for June 28th, in lisa’s home state of Mississppi,,,,,,,Micheal vows to not take Lisa lightly next time, and promises to train hard.

HIGHLIGHTS……Mexican Martinis, Mango Margaritas, and Air Conditioning.

J & J with M & MWhen in Austin, Texas our dear friends Jennifer and Justin Turner always know just the perfect place for dinner. This time was no exception. From the get go it was the perfect blend of Tex Mex which went very well with wine and vodka. Couldn’t do dessert….had to open the button on my pants!! Nuff said!!

Thank you J & J from M & M

Here is one of my new paintings just finished…or maybe not. This is the type I might go back and play with a few more times as I think about it. Great art is not in an instant….I am trying to learn new things, expand my horizons beyond just portrait paintings. In these types of paintings, I can truly experiment.

More paintings from all kinds of painters can be seen over at the forum. You need to register…when you land on the Log In page..SCROLL DOWN to the left to register to get in…it’s FREE. Have fun viewing the paintings and feel free to comment and join in with us.
