<description>Would like Shannon's parents to know that as a woman who has lost two siblings, I can only imagine what the Melendi's went through. I saw a show on her kidnapping and murder, and could completely understand when Mrs. Menlendi spoke of losing friends, as no one wanted to hear about Shannon anymore. It is a horrible truth and my mother, now 79, suffers terribly after losing her youngest daughter and oldest son to horrible illnesses and can only talk of her children to her remaining children and my Dad; very few people want to hear about a loss-they think you should &quot;move on&quot;. Your life continues, but moving on or closure are fiction.
I pray for the Melendi's and will continue to send prayers their way,
